What's up y'all. Figuring out how to jump higher in basketball games can be a difficult task for a lot of people. Trust me, I know personally, but I cahnged that with some work. Jumping higher basically came down to these two things that helped more more than most of the other things I can think of.
1) You've got to make sure your nutrition is spot on. You need to put down the pops and sodas and start drinking water and a lot of it. The story is that you are supposed to get those 8 cups, but I have to tell you if you are going to be running on the court a lot and actually practicing to get better you should really try to get more than the minimum. Normally I'll make a big jug of either Powerade or Gatorade (whatever is on sale) and take it with me everywhere throughout the day. That way I can grab a drink here and there as needed. It's really helpful even if it doesn't sound like it. It makes a big difference for me.
2) You will need to stop doing the things that hold you back. The best training in my opinion is The Jump Manual. They give you a probably the most comprehensive list of exercises that you can imagine using. That's probably because they did a lot of research about how athlete's who are running really need to jump.
So with those two tips you can really get start with jumping higher and you can even start tonight! If you want something to think about you should really look at what this guy did!
